Please do better with your emergency utility services! Residents should not have to call the police to contact you all for outages! You really need to take a page out of GA powers book and enforce emergency personnel for these matters. The temperature is dropping and myself and my child should not sit in the cold for long period of time or have power out for almost two days on the last incident. It’s ridiculous and is the number 1 reason a ton of people refuses to move in this community, due to the utility set up!!! Please get it together!! Sincerely! Myself and a few others on my block!
My water was turned off instead of my neighbors house after hours. My bills were paid up, and it was turned off after hours. However, I was unsuccessful in my attempt to reach anyone after hours who could turn my water back on, and I have a child and pets to care for. It is ridiculous that there is not an after hours emergency number to call for such situations besides 911. And 911 should not sound irritated to get such phone calls, because it is not the residents of East Point's fault that all calls after hours go to them instead of an alternate emergency number.
